Car Insurance

Post by robinalex »

Just renewed my car insurance and thought it might be interesting for Scirocco drivers on here to list what they pay per year to insure their cars for us to all see the lowest and highest amounts.

I will kick things off with mine which is £221.09.

Just checked on confused.com as my insurance is due in 5 weeks time and ignoring all the shit companies it came in at £530 from flux with all current and hopeful mods declared (Lowered 35mm, ITG CAI, non-standard alloys and APR remap > 26% BHP increase). The latter two mods have still to be purchased.
Quite happy with that price but will phone them and Directline my current insurer nearer the time once Mods are either on or not as I recall the flux give a club discount on either here or the net forum.

It was £330 before mods, but up to £530 with Flux after a remap and intake. Hoping that'll drop next year!

It's Aviva actually - been cheap for me the last 4 years. Had switched every year before then
