Odd swirl mark on door

Post by Babajang »

Hi all,

I have this weird swirl mark since buying the car, its just under the drivers side door mirror. you can feel it very slightly if you rub your finger over it. Does anybody know what could of caused this weird swirl in the first place?? what is the best way to remedy it? its not the metal exposed in sure of that as the colour has never changed / rusted.

What look like marks near it are just the metallic effect of the paint and my iphone flash was on so they look like scratches.

Looks like an egg has been lobbed at it I am afraid.

I thought you were joking at first... but thinking maybe youre serious, the shell causes the chips.

What is the fix?? chipex maybe? and a good polish?

Will need paint really. Was there any sign of the egg contents down the door?

Theres nothing on it now as i bought the car two years ago and its always been there.

A respray isnt something im willing to pay for on something as small as that and the placement hides it quite well. I could try chipex but previous experiences of touch up kits have not been great.

100 % Egg Attack - Bloody K**Bs :irked:

Polish won't sort, not even G3. Only other might be a smart repair blended.
