Hi all.. I've been reading quite a bit about this so called launch control and just wondered if you had any feedback or advice...
so my cars done just over 1,600 miles now so i thought id give the launch a try.
so i put it in 'S' turned traction control off put my foot on the break and planted the throttle. (can you do this in manual mode)
it sat at around 2300 rpm? and when i let of the break it just lit the tyres this doesn't really sound like launch control to me.
I mean iv been launched in my good friends GTR quite a few times and THAT is launch control (literally like being fired out of a slingshot)
obviously the tyres are brand new so this isn't the issue,
so does the roc really have launch, am i doing it wrong or just expecting too much..
all in all though i do love my car the only things that annoy me and 1 of the reasons is due to my own wallet!
1 being the factory lowering on the 2.0 TSI is shocking it should be 30mm lower! looks like an of roader!
i also think it should use a K04 instead of the k03 as stock .

Yes you can do it in manual..
You can't compare our LC to that of a GTR.
My LC revs to 3 000rpm, then release the brake and go

Re: Launch Control!?
ahh i figured out what my problem was.
you have to hold traction control off for about 5 seconds to turn off ESC aswell.
although it does just light the tyres up instead of an effective launch
