Retro fit Cruise Control

Post by Darren.Collett »

Hi All,

Anyone know the Part number for the Cruise control ECU or anywhere that a secondhand one could be purchased.

Apparently 2010 models onwards require the Cruise Control ECU and a bit of wiring aswell as the left hand stalk.

Basically a £350 job as apposed to £150 job if the car is a 2009 or earlier!!!!!

:-(

I recently bought an 09 Scirocco and went to my local VW dealer to try and get this done. They said they couldn't until later in the year due to the ECU stuff, I said mine is an 09 car and I've read others have done it with pre 2010 cars but they said it's not possible yet. Another dealer hasn't bothered getting back to me so seems they don't want the work!
