I'm from N.I. but have been living in Scotland for 7 years now, for uni and now work.

I have ordered my car back home though at VW in Derry. Much cheaper for me to get the car there and drive it back to Scotland than get it from a dealership here

Yip....From the Newry end, get the car in November sometime!! Taking ages. I'll pick it up from Arnold Clark in Scotland I believe.

just been listening to cool fm, and heard an ad for comparethemarket for northern ireland car insurance policies. this to my knowledge is a new service for ni drivers (?). gave it a go and discovered the insurance premium, for the new roc, would be over £100 cheaper than what i was going to pay. policy is fully comp, guaranteed no claims protection, 2 named drivers, everything i had on existing policy. the moral of the story, if you can stick listening to mr snodden, then the ads can save you money!!! :yes:
