Nice car.. Perhaps you should consider KW Variant 3 Coilovers (height adjustable).

I have the same spec as you. My first mod would be a redesigned gear box. Changing into second gear when it is cold is terrible and I hear this from so many VW owners. how is your gear change ?

I find all the gears clonky. When I picked it up brand new the changes was all smooth but since then they are very clonky changes

what a shame, Anyone thinking of buying a TDI 170 with a manual box must drive one from cold. I wish someone had warned me, it totally spoils a lovely car .

Sorry been away hence late replies....

My gear changes have been fine, not known any issues - even from cold but is obviously still very very new. Will keep an eye on this..... thanks
