Gave it a good wash to get rid of the salt... then have come home to find someone has hit it and scuffed the back corner of it. Can't tell how bad it is till I see it in the morning light. Gutted and pissed off.

Cheers. Thankfully the paint from the other car has all washed off ok. Only left a couple of small scratches underneath. Not too noticeable at a glance thankfully. Still bloody annoying though.

Ordered sill plates and tax disc holder. Considering getting black badges, anybody know a good supplier?

My arguement to VW was that that shouldn't happen. They said the nuts were too tight (they were torqued to vw spec). Not impressed with vw supplying such a crap attempt at a wrench.

Fitted R-line leather interior into my car today along with the covered cup holder that I purchase a few weeks ago, well happy with the result :) I also found out that the interior was out of a brand new R-line with only 600 miles on the clock so I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I did however realise a problem, my airbag warning light is now on which I will turn off when I figure out what heated seat wiring harness I need to buy, apart from that it looks stunning 8) Will post some pictures when I get round to it.

First big clean yesterday (two months in to ownership!). Citrus spray to the lower areas, full wash with 2-buckets. Clayed the whole car, washed it again, touched up a couple of stone chips and buffed out a couple of small scuffs. Was planning a full wax application but ended up using the Megs rapid spray instead - still petty happy with the results though :)

Fitted the Skoda Yeti exhaust tips - took 5 mins with a couple of twists and turns and then a gentle tap to seat into place. Cracking finishing touch and excellent value   from our Czech cousins!

Fitted a covered cup holder. Bit of a pain to fit - took about 3 hours fiddling with lots and lots of torx screws-but really pleased with the result. :)
