Was in local dealer yesterday to get replacement bulb and saw they are promoting Autoglym Lifeshine system, £200 ex VAT.
Does anyone have this? / know anything about this? / think its any good?
Apparently lasts 10 years?

Re: Lifeshine
There has been another thread on this. Down to preference I suppose.

Ta Iroc,
Think i will go for this, worth it if it stops bug juice welding to my paintwork, interested to see what it does for the interior.

Re: Lifeshine
I've got it, looks nice on the outside although I havent seen 2 black 'rocs side by side, one with, one without.
Havent spilt anything on the leather yet, so cant comment there either (sure it is only a matter of time though). Having a 10 year gurantee is comforting though.
I didnt pay anywhere near £200 +VAT, so try and barter your dealer down.

Re: Lifeshine
I have just been offered this Lifeshine product but for £299 (includes Scotchguard of interior), but sounds a bit steep to me. I have declined it anyway.

Thanks bungle, I didn't have to think very long not to go for this. VW didn't really push me on this either, I guess they are used to people declining this.

Re: Lifeshine
I would recommend the product but not the service.
I had it thrown in on wifes new Ran in October and it works a treat, when I got the new (wwell ex demo rocco) i brought the new full pdi kit for £40 (beware the cheper kits ala ebay as they are mostly left over/topped up pdi kits sold by valeters and might not be complete or contain the right products...eek!!) and did it myself, took a couple of hours to totally clean car inside and out then took another couple of hours to apply the paint protector, glass treatment and interior sealant, also had plenty of gloss protector to do the alloys with loads spare. All in all an easy job and i am now sure it's well applied all over the car and saved me a bundle. Only thing I don't have is the guarantee but I reckon I can live with that.
One think that puzzled me was the glass treatment, which it says must not be used on the windscreen, however when comparing the product to rain x they look and smell that same and also are applied in the same way. I erred on the side of caution and stuck the rain x on the screen which works a treat as always.
