Detailing a Candy White Scirocco.
Greetings from a newcomer and his first post. After years of owning and cleaning coloured cars I have just purchased a Candy White Scirocco. It seems as though my usual detailing regime which culminates in the application of Collinite wax may need to change if I am to preserve that hard white shine that is so attractive. So, I am trying to work out which products and procedures I will need to equip myself with for my dose of OCD satisfaction. Some great recommendations here but would anyone like to distil the whole process for me. Thank you in advance for your kindness to a newbie.

Check out this thread.

Two things are important with white. Prep and then the colour of the "wax", you don't want anything yellow like Carnuba.
Here's my process:-
Jetwash
Tardis
Iron-X
Clay bar
Werkstat Prime Acrylic chemical paint cleaner
Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger spray sealant
Werkstat Acrylic Glos quick detailing spray

Ha, exactly the same as on mine - identical products and order (great minds think alike). Leaves a real deep glossy wet finish to the paintwork.

Just been looking at this kit and they also do the same but with carnuba. Should I stay away from this and stick with the acrylic??

My guess is 'yes', judging my Paralla's comment above:-Superted74 wrote:Just been looking at this kit and they also do the same but with carnuba. Should I stay away from this and stick with the acrylic??

I find its the waxing to protect it after that takes the time, claying as you have found is the quick bit
