New arrival 3/12/12
So tomorrow the 2.0 TSi DSG is ready to be picked up,
Just out of interest how much would it cost in fuel to do around 230 miles mostly?
Durham - Leicester - Derby...
Yes i know you may say use fuel calculator etc etc but i wanted someone who could tell me with personal 2.0 tsi experience.

Good luck with the pick up, I reckon it will cost about £41 in fuel for 230 miles, assuming about 35 mpg, and about £1.40 per litre.(standard unleaded)ViperBoyTsi200 wrote:So tomorrow the 2.0 TSi DSG is ready to be picked up,

I put £30 in yesterday and got 190 miles (currently averaging 37 MPG) on a long trip you can expect low 40's but as its a new toy I'd say you'll be averaging abit less
. I reckon about £40 should see you.

Not clear if car is brand new or not. If it is your economy will be poor to start with while evefything beds in and will gradually improve over the first 1,000 miles.

Yeah sorry its on a 59 Plate.
Averaged 32mpg. 70 80 all the way, with a bit of fun
Was just under full mark and arrived home with a a couple of lines under half so not to bad if im honest, thought it would be worse.

Yea skippy
had the 122 before, if im honest, the difference in fuel well , it isn't really bad, something i could live with, ( thats something i didn't think i'd be abled to say )
The power is there!!! Love the DSG upshits, The noise is addictive
For anyone out there considering a upgrade from a 122, 160 , who isn't a tractor boy
, You should defo go for a 2.0 TSi DSG, not tried the manual so can't comment , i will upload a few pictures very soon.

Try it with a Milltek exhaust... Now those farts are addictive!!! I have saw 100 mile round trip journeys go from 37 mpg down to 30 in a matter of minutesViperBoyTsi200 wrote:Yea skippyhad the 122 before, if im honest, the difference in fuel well , it isn't really bad, something i could live with, ( thats something i didn't think i'd be abled to say )

im averaging like 29mpg on a daily 30mile commute, mostly A/M roads for the most part, doesn't seem to go above 33 ish, im only going 70 80 lol. oh well.
