iPod Problem - remembering track when ignition off

Post by fonnas »

So I have my iPod Nano connected via the iPod cable in the center console. Every time I switch on the car after being switched off it plays the first SAME song in my iPod by alphabetical as it's starting with the letter "A". My RNS 510 does not seem to remember the last song that was playing before the ignition was stopped.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? It's a pain to have to go back each time on the RNS 510 screen and re-select either the playlist you were listening too or the artist!

Could it be my blackberry phone bluetooth interfering with this as well?

Thank you

Yeah mine does this but not always. I haven't tried all permutations of things but I think maybe if you pause the track that is playing before ignition off it might keep it in place.

I have been playing with it all this morning Deft. I think I found the issue: My phone bluetooth was activated for media bluetooth playing as well. I think that was causing the problem. I deleted the bluetooth media access and voila it works. Let's see if it stays this way.
