Dealer Fitted Cruise Control

Post by SuperJB »

I've just found out that my daily commute for this summer is going to get a lot longer, and feature a lot more motorway than it used to. So Cruise Control now seems like a much more worthwhile addition than it did when I first bought my 'Roc. Questions:

1/ Any news on if and when dealer fitted cruise will be available? Has anyone had it done yet?

2/ Any idea if the dealer fitted kit will differ from the factory fitted cruise? Is the wiper stalk replaced or an extra one added for the cruise? Does the factory fitted cruise have any features that you'd think might not be replicated by a dealer fitted version?

Thanks for any input guys! :)

Check this site or email them, www.vwcruise.com

They have a lot of experience with VAG cars, and get very good reports on car forums. Not sure if they've fitted cruise to a new Scirocco yet or not, but if you email then I'm sure they will help you, they were very friendly when I asked them about a Golf.

Hope that helps.
