Scirocco R Invasion Down Under
I have been watching this thread with interest for a long time now, all I can say is I'm totally in love with your car! The mods you have carried out are very tasteful and the cars stance is spot on, very aggressive.
If you would be so kind, I would love some pics face and rear on so that I can see where the wheel/tyre sits in relation to the arch? I would very grateful for any pics, as I love looking at your car!
Keep up the good work!
Regards,
Chris

Thanks Chris.....I have just changed the look of my car. Everything sits flush with the guards. Hope the pics below show you the detail you want?

Thanks for the compliments guys! The car is getting some attention on the road. Not sure if its a good thing or not. The colour is a Matt Grey Metallic and I think reveals more of the sexy lines of our cars.

Re: Scirocco R Invasion Down Under
Thank you for the pics. I'm trying to get the standard 19" Talladega's to sit flush with the arches with H&R spacers. I have tried 10mm but whilst the rears sit almost flush the fronts don't. I know you said your not a fan of spacers but I can't afford new wheels and tyres at the moment I might try 12mm or 15mm spacers on the front to get the wheels flush? By the way loving the new colour, just makes it even more aggressive! That looks like a very high quality wrap, well done!Rev 555 wrote:Thanks Chris.....I have just changed the look of my car. Might be a bit hard mate but a 15mm will improve the look. Don't forget i am also running a 265 size Tyre. Plenty of room under those guards...tinkythomas wrote:Rev 555 wrote:Thanks Chris.....I have just changed the look of my car. Everything sits flush with the guards. This car should be on the top shelf, in shrink wrap with stars over the alloys! Pure Scirocco porn!

Simply amazing! What detailing products were you using before the vinyl wrap? Never seen a white car shine so much. How long did it take your kws to settle? I've just had some v1s fitted to mine. Can't fault them!

cheers bud. The car was coated with a paint protection resin called Opticoat which essentially means no more polishing and easy washing. Bird poo, tree sap, road grime just wash off with a gurney. There other similar brands out there.Gazp123 wrote:Simply amazing! What detailing products were you using before the vinyl wrap? Never seen a white car shine so much. My KW's settled pretty quickly, probably around two weeks and the variance wasn't a lot. I only had the raise the rear left by 5mm to match the other side.

I've never heard of it but I'll look in to it, did you use it on everything apart from your windscreen then?

It went on the windscreen as well but I do not recommend it, it made it quite sticky for a few weeks!
