My Viper Green is gone. It went from London somewhere up north near Hull. Not sure who bought it/will buy it from trader.
It was great car and I really liked it. Covered 40K miles in 3 years. Recently I was doing 3K miles every month and decided that trips to petrol station every other day are too much.
Was looking into getting Scirocco TDI 170PS but leasing was quite expensive comparing to SLK diesel so went for SLK. Mercedes is subsidising leasing deals at the moment so it's difficult to beat their prices.
I will be coming here from time to time and going to VAG events. I still got my classic Scirocco GTI 1983.
If a new owner of s13cco will look here for more information I will be happy to provide it.

did you have any problems when returning the car at all? im on lease also.. i wanted to change my candy white to a viper but i dont know if thats possible..
I couldn't return it to VW because I exceeded mileage by 20K. Charge would be £1400. So the only option was to buy it out which was the initial plan or sell it to someone and pay off VW Finance.
I wanted to get Scirocco TDI as I wrote earlier but because of Mercedes cheap deals I went for SLK. But I'm still looking at every Scirocco on the street or motorway. I still like them and I might buy/lease one again in future.
I sold the car on website called dealerbid.co.uk. I had first offer the same day I put the add and then had more offers. Mostly from small traders. Tried to sell it to VW dealers but they were very slow and no one contacted me back. Didn't try to sell it privately.

If you terminate early VW will reduce total mileage. There's a clause in contract that says: "If this agreement terminates early, we will reduce total mileage in the proportion which the actual period of hire bears to the priod of hire agreed." So if you exceed the mileage you will have to sell it to someone who's going to pay off the finance or pay it off and then sell.
When I bought the car I used it only on weekends. Then I started commuting plus some trips to Germany for car shows and it came to 20K miles more than expected.
Anyway, my new car will arrive in September and in the meantime I'm clocking miles on rented car.

100% this is in a garage for sale near my house.... noticed the plate the other day .... Gonna see if they have a website
I updated my previous post with info that car is in Scotland. Got alert from Autotrader, had one for sciroccos and never cancelled it. And one morning my car showed up in the email :-)
Ad says: "DEMO + 1 LADY OWNER FROM NEW" which is true. I bought it as ex-demo from VW dealer. When I sold it, it had 39825 miles on the clock so it must be over 40K now. It traveled on wheels from Southampton to Hull. I guess that 39.9K looks better than 40K.
BTW, I think price is quite high, not sure who's going to buy it for that amount.
Going to Scotland next weekend, maybe will see it somewhere if someone buys it by then ;-)

I've got my SLK now but I'm not happy with it. Sound of diesel engine drives me crazy every day. And now I'm doing only 1000 miles per month so I don't really need a diesel any more. It's quite powerful, fast and fuel savvy but ... I just can't live with the noise.
I'm missing Scirocco and thinking about getting a new one, maybe even R version. I loved my viper green but green seems to be popular again and almost every car manufacturer sells a car in this color. Is any other ex-scirocco owner missing his/her car?
BTW my old viper is still for sale in Scotland and I guess it will stay there for a long time at current price. Now I understand why traders don't pay a lot, because it takes them ages to sell the cars.

Think I might go take a look at this car. After shelving the idea of getting a Scirocco i've come back to it about 6 months and 2 cars later.
I'm not a superstitious person but there are plenty of people that are and green cars are widely regarded as bad luck in the motor trade. Don't know if it's because a lot of British (badly) built cars used to be green.
