s mode

Anyone drive in s mode all the time? How often u fill ur engine oil?
I hv problem refilling it too often here.

Nah it's a bit too revvy for me. Unless you're really in the mood you're not doing yourself any favours having it to to the red line every time you want to change up.

The turbo cars will use some oil, don't worry too much :yes:

I'm the same as Kev. I only use S mode when I want to give it some beans ;-) If you left it on S mode all the time it would become pretty tiresome.

Not had any issues with heavy oil usage with mine since new (1.4 TSI 160ps). Never had to top this car up (unlike my last car a VW GOLF 2.0 GT TDI which positively drank oil - forever topping it up).
Car now at docks waiting to board ship. Due to sail Sat 24 Oct! 23/10
Car now at a UK port being checked. 26/10)
Car still at the port of Sheerness until 3 Nov. Grrr 29/10
Car at dealers and being prepped. 3/11

Jc ..... what oil grade are you using? Are you up at 28'C - 32'C air temperature at present where you are?

To RW1 im in bagkok thailand. lastest i used my car 34000 km to 38000 km, in whih i used s mode sometime, the engine oil check light apppear again.
