You need to get a Go Pro camera. These things are amazing and I have used it on my motorbike as well. Great for the track. It takes great wide angle HD 1080P video and is also a versatile point and shoot. It comes with a number of attachments including a waterproof housing.

I am going to remove the front plate when I get chance as I will need to repspray the whole bumper to cover the holes. Looking at plugs though as an alternative in the interim.

Nice one! The ADV.1's are still pretty exclusive and I havent seen another Scirocco with these on. The KW's are more comfortable than your stock DCC system. Believe me! The spring rates are matched perfectly and you get the flexibility of lowering heights to suit your taste and driving style.

Very keen on the KW DCC setup too, did you source in Aus or go with someone like Awesome GTI? I need to start working on improving this 4wd stance.. Nice VWR intake too, car looks awesome :)

If you are based in Sydney these guys can help you out with both supply and install. There will be no issues in shipping out to you if you are interstate. The system is plug and play.

Kevin,

A quick question on the wheels if I may?

Did you fit them with spacers or buy the wheels with the offset to space them out that little bit extra to fill the wheel arch nicely?
RS5, Scirocco R. You can never have enough R's

I am not a fan of spacers so I bought them with the right width (9.5) and offset (35) you then have a choice to run 255 or 265 rubber. The latter is the biggest and most aggressive combination you can have on this car without issues. You can't obviously lower it to the ground!

The bigger the better - for maximum grip! It is after all still a FWD and with extra power and torque should you go down this route tuning the engine you will need it. Trust me.

A few updates this week HPFP and rail valve now installed with new tune. So far so good, car feels strong and pulls hard all the way to redline. Quite a difference in the power delivery.

I will post pre and post dyno data next week once the car has adapted a bit more to the new tune.

Also installed the Forge catch can. Nice bit of kit.

Pulled this sucker out today. The infamous Soundaktor! The cabin is so much more quieter and I can hear my exhaust and induction properly!

Mate your sirocco looks incredible!

Where is that soundaktor located? I'm doing the same thing as you are to my Rocco R, just got the rollbars and suspension put in, the wheels are on order. I'm thinking of getting mine Revo stage 2+ tuned is that a good idea?

Right in the middle between the wipers!

Stage 2 Revo defintely worth it. My Stage 1 HPA tune gave me 206.5 kw at the wheels! Over 300HP!

nice car , smart mods ,congrats mate...

1)I would like to ask you if you know where I can get the supalloy control arms in Europe
2) are there any oil deposits in the forge catch can?I mean is it effective?
3) Regarding my cars suspension, I am considering upgrading all bushes with SuperPro track bushes (the whole kit)
For the time being , the only mods in my car are milltek non res TBE ,rota induction, powerflex track dogbone mount insert.Do u think bushes upgrade would be effective in handling?

These guys will ship to you. Enquire at http://www.superpro.com.au

Yes I can see some residue already in the catch can so I guess its better than bein blown back in the engine

3) Regarding my cars suspension, I am considering upgrading all bushes with SuperPro track bushes (the whole kit)
The arms make a considerable diffrence (44% lighter reducing unsprung weight) combined with the antilift kit the steering is really precise. Also dont forget to add swaybars front and rear and you will have a formidable street car

I havent upgraded the bushes as I am happy with how my car handles at the moment. But I am also running coilovers and wide 265 rubber...

Good luck mate

I just fitted my Rocco R with the 'turbo back non resonated milltek exhaust system' and i find it way too loud around the 5,000 RPM and above mark. Do you not get this problem?

Its certainly louder but not uncomfortably loud. You do have a Centre Silencer right? My system is unresonated at the back end but it has a centre silencer (MSVW352)

You will also find that it will get quiter over time as the exhaust gets lined with a bit more carbon.

If you have not done so you should disconnect the Soundaktor as detailed above as it creates an artificial noise into the cabin and cretaes more drone. You dont need it now as you have plenty of sound :D

I also rarely drive around in D mode preferring to manual shift or in Sports mode. This also helps with the drone and lag at lower revs.
