Wiring diagrams needed

Post by kenny.c »

HI there

Does anyone know if I can get my hands on wiring diagrams for the Roc......
Most interested in the doors.....central locking......folding mirrors area.

On a previous car....MINI....I made a unit which folded the mirrors when the car was locked....am looking to try the same on the Roc

Thanx

That would be amazing if you could do that!

Well best bet would be ERWIN or ELSA?

OK thanx.....my other option is to check to pin-outs on the door plugs my self....only thing I can see being a problem is the lack of 12v power supply in the door when the car is locked and you come back to unlock the car.....

I'm sure you could purchase a wiring diagram from VW.

I would be interested in the MOD too

Im sure VW would love to sell me the wiring diagrams......id rather not bother than pay VW for the info......
I was rather hoping someone on the forums was a VW employee and could help out...

Thanx

Im not so certain that you would have to pay for them. I helped my mate install some heated electrical seats in his scirocco and to be sure that we did it right i just went to the local VW garage, asked for the plans and they gave them for free after we gave the chassis number.
