What about switchable traction control? Can you turn it off on the 160s. You could with the Polo, but once again, have read too many conflicting facts.

It's odd. I did try that and it wasnt listed as an option. Then on the overall specs it says not standard on the 122PS, which sort of implie that its standard on the rest of the range. Then you look at the standard spec and it doesn't seem to be listed on any of the models.

There are quite a few of the Polo GTIs having engine replacements. I haven't seen my Polo GTI for a month now because of a DSG fault and it's unlikely I'll see it again, but I know that I was meant to be having a replacement engine too.
