I have ordered a new R, and my dealer has advised me that it will come with the 2016 spec. Does anyone know what changes there are from the 2015 spec?

I have my iPod Classic connected via the socket in the armrest. Every few times I try to use it, it won't work. Sometimes the display says "Initialisation" and goes no further. Sometimes it says "No device" and sometimes it says "Device without function". This will last...

Sadly, I kerbed one of my Talladega alloys recently.

I have had the wheel repaired, but the specialist who is doing it cannot find details of the actual colour to finsh it off. Does anyone know the paint reference code, or anything else that will help, please?

I finally collect my new toy next Monday - can't wait! Only seven months from order....! I've had a Passat diesel courtesy car for the last month - decent, but not a driver's car, like my previous RX-8 was or my new R will be.

Is it true that you get a courtesy car from VW if your car is not ready after 20 weeks? Is this A VW policy, or a dealer initiative, and how do you go about it? My dealer appeared not to have heard about it.

They were exceptionally helpful and very efficient, and it was so easy. They took the spec and half an hour later I got a phone call from the dealer.

I've just placed an order for one, and got a 10% discount on the basic car, with extras at list price, using a broker. The order was placed direct with a main dealer, and the broker charged a flat £349 fee for the introduction. Very happy with the deal. Just have to wait now.................
