Picked up one of these from wiggle last week, but after a trial go of attaching to my car, I have decided to return it. I did run the bike rack in slightly different configuration to ballyboy. I tried with the top feet below the spoiler, but I think my concerns would have been the same as the load ...

Surprised at some of these figures! My Scirocco (bought secondhand) has 14500 miles on it and still appears to be on the original tyres, which have lots of life left in them. Although in my other car (a Lotus) it would be easy to toast a set of rear tyres in sub 4000 miles...

Apologies if this is a really dumb question ( ), but would there be any issues using a set of roof bars if you have the panoramic sunroof? My next car needs to be capable of carrying a bike or two, but I quite fancy the option of the sunroof
