im pretty sure you can return any purchase within a certain time frame, especially one not fit for purpose, so im sure they would rather swap it than have you return it. Also there may be one in stock somewhere that matches your requirements that you wont have to wait for

i'd demand a replacement car if i were you, i know its a pain to wait and i know they are fitting a new engine but i wouldnt want a car that had that work done to it the day after picking it up

yeah its wycombe, i was thinking pistonheads, but i dont know if i can be dealing with all the hassle of it, i coudl do with just getting clear of it really. thanks blackroc, yeah i was thinking of autotrader etc, but thought id try the least hassle route first. I hadnt thought about going to multiple dealers, simple really but good idea. What did you put the extra down as a deposit for?

been 8000 miles, pretty agressive style overall i suppose, some heavy braking, they arent worn down so i guess ill get it checked again

normal braking doesnt seem to do anything, went on the motorway for 20 miles or so, then came off to go home and still doing it when i pulled up, and it wasnt raining or very wet while i was driving

I think i have a problem with the brakes on my car. When im stationary and in 'D', if i let the brake off very slowly to creep forward gently, along with the usual noise i would expect (the sound of the brakes trying to hold the car back while i havent fully let it off) i get a huge squeak that keep...
