Thanks! There is some minor rubbing over deeper potholes, especially if the front wheels are strongly turned sideways...but it’s minor.

Nice :) How do you find the jump from the Normal 2.0 TSI to the R? Totally different car :) Feels way more composed and the motor has a totally diferent character and sound (more of a grunt and it almost sounds like it has more than 4 cylinders :) ). The 2.0 TSI had a nice linear acceleration curve...

Thank you both and I agree that black def is the best colour for the facelifted R. Forgot to mention that my R is year 2011, model 2012 with retrofitted original facelift parts. The interior is still the first R (I prefer the first interior and am not a fan of the facelifted one) with a few tiny but...

Here is my 3rd Scirocco, this time the dream one (R) at least for me, having previously owned a reflex silver 1.4 TSI 160 and later on a candy white 2.0 TSI.

One thing you forgot regarding the awesome look of your R converted machine is to paint the mirror caps glossy black like all the R's ;) Amazing project...one of the biggest I've seen!!!
