Steering wheel buttons fail...

Hi All My cars steering wheel buttons and flappy paddles stopped working this weekend Funny thing is the car was 1year and 1day old when it happened; typical haha. Does anybody know of the problem and how to fix it, like a reset of some kind, or plugging in the Vagcom maybe (I do have one)? I did po...

Removal of rain/light sensor cover on screen

Hellooo

How do I remove the Rain/Light sensor plastic covers on the inside of the windscreen and behind the mirror. I cannot see a way to do this due to the long thin piece of plastic that goes from the sensor/mirror housing to the roof?

Thank you

Re: MDI and Ipods

Off the top of my head you can change what you view in setup' ie you can show all - artist, song, album - or just the artist and song. Have a look-see.

Re: MDI Firmware Upgrade

Hi Alan Thanks for that. Will the reset delete all the radio and DAB stations? On an update note since I installed the new firmware: the skipping is defineltey less than before, and it appears only when going from one album to another, ie on mix. If you are listening to the same album then there hav...

Re: MDI Firmware Upgrade

Well it still skips, but not as much, as it seems to change tracks quicker. The annoying thing is that it has completely scrambled the 'songs' listing, they are not alphabetical anymore, but are now alphabetised in artist order - very bizzare. *I have just checked my ipod as Atlantis has pointed out...

Re: Skoda Bluetooth - fitted

Well the proper bluetooth unit has arrived :) And the so called premium rSap unit is under the 'Drivers' Seat not passenger seat as the Roccopedia states. Can someone change that? Anyway its a struggle to unclip the old unit and then fit the new proper Bluetooth box in the polestyrene case, but it d...

Re: Skoda Bluetooth - Who has this fitted?

Hello Ashley Thank you for your post. I have thought about the Fiscon, but three things put me off, firstly in all the pics I have seen 'fiscon' is plastered all over the MFD and radio screens. Secondly the apparent incompatability with the ipod/iphone connection, and I can't be bothered selecting t...

Re: finally some smear free wiper joy!

Very interesting RW1. Sounds much more like a plausible problem, and why Evil Derboy and others are continuing to have troubles. I'll make sure to lift the wiper by the arm and not the blade. Although I will be changing my wipers for PIAA's shortly, so maybe they are stronger or just different enoug...

Re: Auto lights function

Thank you RW1. I'll try again. I guess the VAGCOM is a dealer thing?

I wouldn't mind if it was just my sidelights that were permanently on, but it seems daft to have all my lights blazing, and kinda makes the light switch rather redundant
