Picked up my brand new R today after an extended holiday due to volc ash. Wow, it's fantastic!!! Much quicker than the 4x4 Touareg it replaced, superb to drive. I love it

My brand new rising blue R has been at my dealer since 3 days before I came on holiday. Trouble is because it was a double bank holiday we couldn't get the funds through so I agreed to leave it there until I got back from my hols. Trouble is, we are now stranded in the states waiting for a flight ba...

There are now 2 R's on the VW used car locator online.
1 in Slough - White.
1 in Ayr - Silver.
Both under 50 miles on the clock!!! 10 plates.
Mine is built this week. Can't wait.

Looks superb, can't wait for mine. Have you cleaned or is that how it came. Mine is BW10. Not long now.

Managed to get a free one thrown in from the dealer when my R comes in a few weeks. Never really looked after a car before but intend to this time. Is it worth having this done or should I try and swap for something else?

I would be interested in that too, waiting for a rising blue R. Don't know anything about looking after a car!!! Just the basics would suit me. What would you recommend for R Blue?

I'm sure they will be fine, I hope so I've ordered 18's. I think there was a link to a blue one In a german showroom on here somewhere and they looked good.

Had the call today, confirmed build week 10. Hope to get at the end of March. Trouble is we go away for two weeks on 3rd of April, don't no weather to leave it till I get back rather than leave in airport carpark for 2 weeks??

Great news, when did you order yours? I was told wk 10 but not confirmed yet. I ordered mid Dec??

I've ordered a scirocco R, can't wait.....Dealer in Derby let me have a spin in their Golf R at the weekend. Wow it's quick, wasn't too keen in black, glad I ordered blue as the R features with stand out more. Also really pleased I ordered the DSG, the R I drove was a manual box and I wasn't so keen...

Just had a look at a Golf R demo @ Derby VW. Looks fantastic, dealer says it's brilliant on the road. Don't suppose we will see any Scirocco R's before mine arrives!!!
