Re: Another 1.4TSI misfire
Approx 16500 since March 2010, pretty even split between urban and main road/ dual carriageway. Don't spend much time on the motorways at all.

Re: Another 1.4TSI misfire
 I find it strange there isn't a logged fault code. C. I've experienced a similar problem recently, although much less frequently, and on the two occasions that it's been in to the dealers they have said there was no fault code logged. I found it particularly strange as on the first occasion I...

Re: RNS 510 splash screen/startup image changeable?
. Is the screen not slightly different if you have Dynaudio? Yep, it does say something about being powered by Dynaudio on the screen when it's first started up. I have Dynaudio, but once it locked up and when it reset itself it had a standard splash screen without the Dynaudio logo :/ Came back af...

Re: Short whistling sound when accelerating...
Just ticked over 2k and I now have my very own squeak too! Not too fussed, doesn't make it any less fun to drive, and gives me an excuse to turn the Dynaudio up

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
Is it strange that I only ordered mine at the end of January but I have been told BW9? Seems to be a massive difference between other people's experiences :S

Not trying to spoil your excitement, but BW9 is the first week in March, not the 22nd of this month. Same week as mine

Re: Scirocco thinking on buying 1
I was in a similar situation to you but I went to the dealers yesterday and took the plunge. They offered me a decent trade in for my current car and a fair discount off the list price for the Scirocco so maybe you should go in and see what they can do? Obviously it depends what model you're after e...

Re: Insurance etc.
Thanks! Yeah, I had the factory fit options vs. modifications debate with a few of the companies that I tried... most said it came down to Manufacturer Specification and said that factory fit options are still specified by the manufacturer so it's all good! Ah, you have the unfair advantage of being...

Insurance etc.
Hey guys..
I'm hopefully ordering myself a 1.4TSI Roc soon, so I was wondering if there any other 'young drivers' on here who can share their insurance experiences! Most of the quotes I'm getting range from £850-£2000, do you all fall into that bracket?
Cheers!
