I had the same issue. 2015 face lift. In behind the glove box, you get this clicking/knocking sound. It is an air circulation motorised flap opening and closing. It doesn't matter if the you have the air turned on or off. It is a relatively common issue, google "scirocco clicking noise glovebox...
