Hi Apologies for raising an older thread but I have had this issue with the P0403 (N18) code .... After hours of research I have pinned it down to the high pressure EGR vacuum solenoid valve P/N 1K0906283A (check Ebay for the photo of part) and not the EGR unit itself.
