Are there any differences in the cleaning procedures (and products) required for truffle rather than black leather? I'm a bit nervous about applying anything that would discolour the stitching but I guess this isn't an issue with black stitching.

Any advice?

Give your dealer a call. Mine was absolutely postive it wouldn't arrive before next Mon for collection next Tue. In the end it arrived yesterday!!

I spoke to my dealer today and got the registration for my car, which is apparently in the country!

I've been told to expect delivery on 5/6 October (a week today! ). If this happens then my order -> delivery time will have been 16 weeks.

What build week have you been given?

Never heard of dealers offering to give customers a car if there car on order is delayed! Did he/she give you anything in writing?

Update: Ordered mine on 14 June and was subsequently build week 36. Just been onto the dealers and (after 3 phone calls with 3 different people) was told that build week had slipped to 37, but it had now been build and was awaiting shipment to the UK. I'm told to expect 2-3 weeks for delivery. It's ...

My car is scheduled to be built this week (I soooooooo can't wait for it). I wonder if it will be delivered with the latest firmware on the RNS510? My guess is probably not, I bet there is a pile of head units sitting in the factory with the previous firmware version.

I ordered mine on 14 June from Lookers VW Burlney and the dealer called me last week to reconfirm build week 36 with delivery in the second half of September.
