It's pretty much continuous at all difference speeds while engine breaking ,I've checked engine mounts and there allfine

Hi my car had developed a knocking noise it started about a week ago it only does it under engine braking about 60 mph and some times at low speeds , doesn't knock when going over bumps or braking or accelerating just under engine braking.

does anybody have any ideas as is very annoying.

Well apparently this is the furtherest they would push it as it would shorten the life of the engine , which I thought was a bit strange as theres peoplerunning a lot more power than I am with no problems , so that does make me wonder how good they are.

Hi everyone , I have been to a dyno today and had a remap at my local viezu in bidford does any one this my results seem abit low.
2.0 tsi 200bhp
mods
forge twincooler
piper cross panel filter
miltek turbo back exhaust

Standard
flywheel figures
218 BHP
312NM

after remap
251 BHP
354 NM

how much was that and which one ? does it feel similar to the oem clutch or is it heavier or anything? would be improvement over standard oen intercooler ? and okay for say stage 2 ?

Hi , try eurocar parts website put your reg in and will find you the pads for your car, hope this helps .

Thanks for the reply ,well at the moment the car is standerd ,I intend on going stage 2 soon and then maybe stage 3.

Will it be adequate as it's only a single intercooler unlike the forge system ?

Hi, I have a scirocco 2.0 tsi manual it has a missfire when it's cold and idle and between 1500-4000rpm when driving when the engine is warm it only seem to be very occasionally at idle ,I have code read the vehicle and no faults codes have appeared. I have tried new spark plugs.
