Re: Cam adjuster
£830 for the timing kit and labour. I'll post the result when I get the car back. Lesson learned but I still love my Rocco.

Cam adjuster
Hi all I’ve developed the dreaded rattle on start up and have to get a cam chain tensioner. After reading a few posts here I think I may need the entire kit which includes the tensioner and wondered firstly if that’s correct and If so, does anyone here sell the kit or can direct me to a good oem kit...

Fuel flap
Hi all I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. The fuel flap on my 09 stopped releasing, so I took it apart to check the motor, which is spinning as it should when I press the fob, so gave everything a clean up etc, but I'm having trouble getting It all back together. I opened it...

Re: Hub removal
I haven't worked out how to upload a picture yet so posting links are a seemingly impossible task at the mo. As per the YouTube link I watched, I used a bit of force and managed to get a nut in there which tightened and torqued up nicely. I'm assuming the old nut shredded and left debris in ...

Re: Hub removal
I should also ask if there's anything I need to be aware of once I do get the hub removed. Is it a simple case of out with the old, in with the new, or am I heading for troublesome times?

Re: Hub removal
Its still pretty stiff but won't tighten all the way, it just keeps turning? As I said I know very little about cars.

Hub removal
Hi As I very stupidly destroyed one of the threads in my off side front hub and need to get a new one, does anyone know the size of the hex key I need to remove it please? It's for the tricky ones behind the hub that look like they're going to be a nightmare to release. This is the first forum I've ...

Re: Wheel hub cross threaded
Hi again
Sorry for what is probably a stupid question, but are parts (hubs in my case) interchangeable? I've found a few sciroccos that are being broken, but they're 2.0 litre.
Many thanks
