Re: Window wont go down so door can be opened/closed
I've had loads of issues with the passenger side window dropping halfway, as well as an intermittent issue with the window refusing to drop before opening and closing the door. Swapped out window control module for second hand unit (same part no.) and has made no difference. Now thinking it could be...

Re: Window malfunction - Door Windows Drop.
OK I heard back from VW when I emailed them in regards to the software issue of the door controllers not liking 7 volts and their reply was; 'I had a chat with the technician that worked on your vehicle and all the software was up to date on the unit' So now I'm wondering if it's an intermittent iss...

Re: Window malfunction - Door Windows Drop.
As mentioned in previous posts I think the issue is with faulty software within the door control modules not liking anything under 7 volts. Whether this is true and fixable - I'm wanted to hear back from others who had this fault corrected at a dealership and if it solved your issue or not (so if th...

Re: Window malfunction - Door Windows Drop.
Hey all I know this topic is super old so hoping some of you are still around to answer this. My 2010 Scirocco's passenger side window has started to randomly wind itself down halfway and the window no longer drops the required inch or two when you try to open the door. I used the Carista Bluetooth ...

Re: permanent live cigarette socket
Can anyone help? I have a solar panel car battery maintainer that plugs into your cigarette lighter socket. The problem is, the lighter socket is not a permanent live and only switches on with your ignition, this would make the solar panel useless Does anybody know how to make your cigarette lighte...

Re: Cigarette lighter power after ignition off
Hi All I know this post is old but I'm hoping some of you are still active on here. My Rocco sits on the driveway all week (I get the train to work), so the battery slowly drains thanks the OEM immobiliser and cat1 alarm AND tracker installed. It's left me stranded a couple of times with a flat batt...

Re: AUX in VCDS Error
Hi Dimexi Sorry I can't help with regards to your original post but I was wondering if I could pick your brain with regards to your following quote: 'When I installed my dashcam, I took the wiring through the headliner trim.' Basically I'm looking at buying the following front and rear dashcam and p...
