Hi My TDI 140 went into the dealers to get an Airbag error fixed a month ago. After it came back, the stop start didn't work for 2 weeks. It just never kicked in. Airbag error reappeared after 2 weeks and stop start began working again. Not sure how this could be linked. It went into dealers again, ...

Back from dealers. Told the error code related to the drivers side airbag. The one that runs up the side of the windscreen. They took it apart and reassembled it and error cleared. They aren't sure what the problem was. Maybe a connection that needed reseated. Time will tell.

Cheers all. Will see tomorrow hopefully. It was brand new when I bought it so plenty of warranty left for resolution.

Hi all

My 5 month old Scirocco GT has developed its first fault. Dash is displaying Airbag Error. Was driving without issue when it just came on. Taking it in tomorrow to dealer for diagnostics.

Any ideas?

Mine was built on the 25/9 reached the dealer here in Northern Ireland on the 21/10. All depends on luck with the shipping from a Setubal to UK. Picking mine up on the 25/10!

Mine got built on the 25/9. Tracker still says 4 weeks.
