Re: 2009 TSI 2.0 single vs dual flywheel
Super advice there. I was looking at selling soon the weight of the SMF is the same as a DMF so maybe that will help. On the VWvortex it’s very mixed if it would make a massive difference. So I thought I would ask on this forum where people have the actual car. As it’s my wife’s car (now) as long as...

2009 TSI 2.0 single vs dual flywheel
Hello I have a sticking clutch which sadly Turned out to be the slave and not a master cylinder. So a new clutch assembly required. I have been looking at kits and can see dual flywheel kits and single flywheel kits. The single kits are about £100 cheaper and from what I have read will still fit my ...

Re: Key Transponder at fault?
Ok sounds the best option. Are you aware of Craig Nettleton at Auto solutions? Saw other posts here on him. I suspect I can’t order a blank key and do it myself if I have a working key already right?

Re: Key Transponder at fault?
Yeah this is what I’m thinking so what would be next steps? Is it back to VW or the place I mentioned in the first post? Just trying to get an understanding.

Re: Key Transponder at fault?
Thanks for the reply. But I think the transponder is the issue. It will only work about 2 foot from Steering column. But it’s not the battery that’s at the issue.

Key Transponder at fault?
Hello Long time since I’ve posted here. But my Sirocco 2009 TSI still running well. However I have a small query with one of the key fobs. Since I’ve change the battery it only works to open the car if you have the fob over the drivers window any further away it will not open. My other fob is workin...

Re: Coolant temperature sensor location TSI 2.0
Thanks buddy! I did do this and it look almost identical. The bottom picture I believe is the Petrol and number 10 is the item and looking at it I think it will be hidden behind the manifold. Would you agree? I have seen people change this on other VW engines but appears to be a bigger job in this c...

Re: Coolant temperature sensor location TSI 2.0
Great link thanks for that.
I’m looking at the second engine on the picture the lower one. Mine is 2009 however my oil stick is in a different location. I hope the sensor is not behind the intake manifold?!

Coolant temperature sensor location TSI 2.0
Hey guys
I might be going mad but I can’t locate the coolant temperature sensor on my Roc. Googled and found pictures of the sensor on other VW makes but not on the Roc. I have a 00770 error and think needs to have the sensor replaced.
Does anyone have a picture of the location?
Thanks

Replacement offside rear light required.
Hi all Yesterday girlfriend reversed the car into mine and cracked the offside rear light cluster. Now I understand these have to be replaced as a whole unit even though the bulbs are working fine. Where is the best and recommend a place to get one of these that is not the dealers. I've seen some on...

Seat covers recommendations
Hi guys I have done a search on this question but the newest I could find was 2 years ago. I'm looking for a recommended front seat cover for my Roc. I have cloth seats on a 09 car and the bolster on the driver side now has a hole in it. I saw on a forum that VW did seat covers but can't see that on...
