On another note.......the led light in the drivers door mirror is broken and has water in it, is this a genuine vw part on...

Hi people..just a quick question.
The scirocco iv just bought has got vw satnav in it .......i have just discovered it also plays dvds, is this standard on the satnav system or have i been lucky???
Also the mfd is displaying the speed in kms......is there any way to set it to mph??? thanks

Ok folks......iv just bought myself a scirocco. Decided on the 170 diesel over the 140 after taking advice on here a week or so ago. I did eventually find one with a few extras on it ........it was a private sale and hopefully i aint paid to much.. Its 61 plate .....the miles are a bit high at 42k b...

Did you sell your car private or chop it in with the deal.....

I think i could get away with the 140 bm as the car would be used mainly by the mrs , however finding one with a few extras on it is impossible..... Just returned a audi a1 tdi to the dealers with a full refund due to been ripped off and sold a pig........so a 140 would be a performance increase any...
