Re: You want Power mirror fold using the fob ? I've sussed
Fair enough - thanks
I'll see about actually sourcing/installing the powerfold mirrors in first, then I can try find someone to do the change.

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
There used to be a handy page which had all of the changes to Model Year... just trying to work out what, if anything, has changed recently on the different trims... can anyone remember the link?

Retrofit MIB2 into a 63 plate Scirocco
Hello. I've got 63 plate Scirocco that I'd love to update a bit, in particular with regards to carplay/etc. Is it possible to get the MIB2 working on an older pre-facelift?

Re: RNS315 software update
I'll keep looking and come back with anything I find. My maps are also V4. Tbh, I don't think there's anything that can be done about the maps for the 315 - they come via an SD card which can only be used once on the first head unit it upgrades (some feature all SD cards have the option to utlise ap...

RNS315 software update
Hello, Spent the better part of a couple of days trying to find some info about this, but everything seems to lead to a dead end. I was wondering if there are any new features which are enabled with the latest "software version" (firmware) for the RNS315. I'm currently on 0407, have defini...

Re: MDI to Lighting cable for Iphone 6 plus
I recommend you get the cable as opposed to the little block: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Lightning-Adapter-Pin-Cable/dp/B009CA75P2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I found the block was a bit uncomfortable and felt like it was going to snap - this gives you a bit more flex...

Re: Updating built in Sat-Nav
Hi all, I was looking at maybe updating the firmware on the RNS315 in my MY13 car. Is there are changelog or list of new changes in the latest RNS315 versions? I'm on 0407 but I know there's a 0410, maybe even newer. Not sure what they add though and it's harder than finding a unicorn to get any inf...

I'm guessing that retrofitting this to the old Scirocco/RNS315 is a no-go?

Assuming this can only be done with the RNS510? I have an RNS315 in my 2013 Rocco, are my only options either pay VW or get an RNS510?

Re: ACC how and when do you use yours??
I suspect I'm in the minority but I can't really tell the difference. Roads are crap where I live though so I just leave it in comfort. Might go around some nice windy roads when the weather is nicer and try sport mode properly ![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I've been happy with the dual zone climate temp control. I can feel the difference between say 20 and 23 (two main temperatures I use).
Heated seats are incredible for the winter though. Love them.

Re: Scirocco Air Con settings
Even if you've got the temperature turned up? Air con is used for cooling and dehumidifying not heating. Although it does deselect at low temperatures, I can't recall ever seeing the LED on the switch go off. Yeah absolutely re: in particular dehumidifying. I wondered why the light never went out t...
