Exact same problem with my 58plate 2.0tsi. Had the throttle body wiring replaced at around 50k miles, now on 60k and had no problems at all

Re: New R owner
Air ride is expensive to buy , fit and remove. Just need to ask yourself will you get the enjoyment out of the car on air after owning cars on coilovers. Especially if you are going up to stage 2+. One thing I forgot to mention is on the roccos the chassis has to be notched when fitted with air ride...

Re: New R owner
Nice car mate and my favourite colour. Tons of experienced modders on here mate so just say what you are trying to achieve and you will get plenty of help. I was at a meet today where Ashley had his air suspension car. Looked good but there are plus and negatives, so best having a chat with him. Gr...

Re: Tdi going and new R arriving
People claim they get 370bhp with just a map. However a friends stage 1 golf R on the dyno came out with 371bhp with a turbo back and intake

ah well that's a shame. 70hp gain from a stage 1 would have been nice!

Re: Tdi going and new R arriving
Whitedevil if the new shape rocco R does have the same engine and turbo as the new MK7 golf R why shouldn't the new roc see similar gains ? no reason why the golf can gain 70bhp and the rocco cant

Re: Tdi going and new R arriving
The 300bhp mark with a stage 1 map on a old R is what you would be looking at. However the new shape golf R mk7 on a stage 1 map from revo takes it up to around 370bhp! Im not sure if the turbo on the new shape Scirocco R is the same as the golf R but just slightly detuned. If it is the same then it...

Can only give my personal experience on what I have had fitted.

Re: Air ride
There's many places about depends where your based and how far your willing to travel.
Your looking at around £2500 for a basic kit with fitting. If you spec the kit up with twin compressors, performance struts, digital management you will be well over 3k.
