Heard today - all sorted at no extra cost at all! They said the new car was a £500 premium but I am price protected due to my order date.

I have telephoned VW today to ask them about the status of the updates with previously ordered Scirocco's. Although my car has an anticipated build week of 18, despite my order form stating delivery in "early April", VW can not confirm whether the car will actually come with the new update...

Agreed to the build week 20 - just very disappointing having initially been told April 6th collection and now will be end of may early june as just been told build week 18

Just looked at the contract I signed - I can cancel it without penalty and obtain a refund Very annoying - at least the economy isn't down the toilet to the point where companies can turn down £22,000 orders..... left, right and centre by the looks of it. I have just been told my build week is 15 - considering we are on build week 9 and I ordered mine a month ago, this is annoying! First was promised delivery early April, then mid April, then late April now early May..... Wish I could be so non-committal at work.....

My insurance for a 2TDi GT BMT was about £410 - swift cover - the cheapest one I could find
Thats parked in a garage, does less than 10,000, 8 years no claims.

Enquired about the premium with and without a cobra tracker - exactly the same price!

Apparently mine is not going to be ready until the end of April now- delayed by DAB :-(
