@Runci - I think the issue would be the movement. The pads are there to stop the rack rubbing on the roof. If you attach the pad to the rack, then the pad would rub on the roof. I think that would be the issue. Someone correct me if they think I'm mistaken though. I'm also looking roof bars, I think...

As everyone's suggesting alternatives, SD is an option isnt it? Then you can just plug it in a leave it.

Is that the usual Salsa Red? Everywhere else i see a Rocco in red it looks different? If it is, I WILL be copying you!
