Re: Would you adam and eve it

Good to hear worked out well for all! Just for info some cyclists like myself do have insurance although the insurers say not to say so unless specifically asked, so always worth asking.

Re: New 1.4 TSI 160 in Salsa Red

Collected this morning :D . Enjoying the new car, well impressed. Not found anything yet to fault. Getting used to the visibility to the rear takes a bit. Looking forward to getting back to the twisty roads in the Highlands... 8) http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7189/6945024813_31395b5fe7_z.jpg http://...

Re: It's here, but can't get my hands on it yet

I did get a price from Inverness, not much in it, but preferred the response I got from my sales enquiry from Western in Edinburgh. Also having dealt with them before I guess better the devil you know! Very tempted to get an (original) VCDS cable, XDS is the first option would like to enable. Will b...

Re: New 1.4 TSI 160 in Salsa Red

Thanks stunt, I think the car looks best in the brighter colours. Was a smart looking viper outside the showroom and a black for sale as the buyer had changed his mind to blue after ordering. Just noticed that this pic - taken when started to sleet - shows a red, white and blue... http://farm8.stati...

New 1.4 TSI 160 in Salsa Red

Had a quick look at my new wheels today before I collect next month :D . Pleased with the colour, was worried was going to be a darker red. Still to be de-badged. Not best pic as just the pocket camera.

Pics of mud flaps fitted?

Collecting the car in couple of weeks :happybanana: , living in the highlands with so much salt and grit on the roads I am seriously considering mud flaps. I realise many will say don't do it! I have searched forums and google for photos of them fitted with little success. Even the VW configurer onl...
