Re: Manual to DSG
Had the mechanic take it for a test drive after fixing the centre arm rest and he said everything was fine. Guess driving a DSG is a little different to a manual

Manual to DSG
OK so i have been driving my 2.0 TSI petrol for a couple of weeks now, and i am loving it :vibes: As i have come from a manual car before i am a little unsure if my style of driving is causing a couple of things to happen. Basically i just want to make sure i am not doing something wrong. 1. when i ...

Re: lights in the footwell
I can understand they come on when you get home and are about to leave the car, but should they be on when you're driving?

Re: Going DSG
this is my first automatic, if you can call it that, yeah it does take a little getting used to after owning manuals all my life, but man o man it is fantastic, it actually makes driving more fun. You can put it in to sports on an open windy country road and concentrate more on the driving than the ...

Re: Wow picked my Roc up yesterday
It is quite a stiff ride but still more comfortable than my old Alfa 147. I have been reading the manual (please don't laugh at me) and i cant believe how many features the car has. It is like every one at VW has sat round the table and someone said, right we are going to design a car, what features...

Re: Arm rest question
Its on a 59 plate. Noticed a bit of black plastic has pinged off, a bit that covers the hinge. I think that piece resets a catch inside the main consul when the rest is fully open or closed. Took it on the dealers today and I have it booked in, they also replaced the number plate and have ordered me...

Re: Arm rest question
I do understand what you mean as i have had this on previous cars, but this is not working in this case, i have noticed that part of the plastic trim that covers the hinge on the drives side has broken off, maybe that is the cause of the problem? I did try lifting it and no click was heard. Any othe...

Re: Arm rest question
Thanks for your reply Yes it is pushed fully back, i had noticed that it does slide out and back in. It is not fully sitting down flush with the top of the base and if i rest my elbow on it whilst driving it does seem a little high. I will take it back this week and see if they can have a look at it...

Arm rest question
Hi all, Wonder if anyone can advise me about the centre console arm rest. When i lift up the arm rest (the one the hides the ipod/aux connector) there are two little rubber squishy things that look like the lifted arm rest would sit on when it is put back down (if you get what i mean) Should the arm...

Wow picked my Roc up yesterday
Two days of driving, all i can say is Wow wow Wow, what a fantastic motor. I am so very pleased with my new car, accelerates like a bat out of hell, sticks to the road like glue and is smooth and comfortable. Honestly who could want any more out of a car, would it be rude of me on all other cars on ...
