The problem is that, nobody cant find a clue!! Somthimes is starting and he can run hours whitout any problems, but after a while he is stoping , suddenly ! Strange!!.. And he also can start after hours..... Basicly is like a possesed car, stoping without any sympthoms, and starting in few hours!!! Check both endings of your turbocharger. Similar problem in a 1.4 twincharger engine. Suddenly it stopped running and started occasionaly. At the end the turbocharger had broken the axle and the wind that lead to the exhaust was stuck and acted as a closed flap, blocking the flow of the exhaust gases . So even when the engine decided to start the ecu did not register a single fault. Only a generic g28 sensor error once that lead to wrong conclusions.

I had a similar problem with mine. Turned out to be fuel pump and injectors. My car did throw a fault though when diagnosed so it may not be the same issue although the symptoms sound the same.

Well, in WV service, they checked everything, fuell pump is running ok, computer for fuel pump is also ok, we ckeched also the ignition and is also working fine, presure for injectors is in good condition, basicly mechanichal is perfect... Also if she is starting( engine) she can run perfectly,

...strange!?!? isnt it?

Stopping without faults sometimes points to the car losing power as though its been switched off. So diagnostics will not register becasue it thinks its normal. Maybe worth getting them to look at the ignition switch given its reputation.

Well. In my case vw tried the following.
new G28 sensor
new ignition switch
new ECU
new spark plugs
new coil packs
cylinder compresion check (in case of the known engine failure related to the ecu recall)
new injectors (faulty batch 45week of 2009 production date).
fuses, fusebox, currents and voltage all nominal.
The optical check of the turbocharger indicated tha everything was ok. but the wings on the back were not rotating chocking the engine. When the turbo was replaced the engine started without trouble.
No erros in the ecu during the above procedure and no indication of what was wrong. Turbocharger broke in the highway at 160km/h in a rainy day. The spray from the tyres prevented me to se tho pyros (smoke oil and water) from the exhaust.
If it is the turbocharger also check the catalytic converter and intercooler for oil and water.
Hope you find the solution (a less painfull than mine) soon and be able to enjoy your car to the maximum.

Hello all again, today i m comming with good news about my engine failure! It fix now and running perfect!!
What was?? Well a complicated electronical problem! A good engineer from Wv , he dyscover a breakdown of a high energy coil induction power starter, well like the transformer for high voltage for ignition! The voltage for ingintion is around 17 kwa, and it was low then normal! So, we change the electronic circuit and now all thing are back to normal!! .. It was a trycky thing, but in the end we manage to fix it!! I hope that you all in case that you willl have the same " mystic" problem to chech this kind of failure!!
Thanks all for short and nice replyies!!
