Misfire, DSG or Manual?

I want to buy a second hand scirocco 1.4 160HP.
Did you heard about a manual car that had replaced engine because of misfire?
Or fault cylinder?

You cannot get a manual 1.4 160 HP in the UK, they are all 7 speed DSG. If it is a 1.4 manual you are looking at then it is 122 HP version.

Based on the quality of the English, I don't think they are in the UK

Its been available in the UK since January 2009!

There is plenty on the issues surrounding the 1.4TSi 160PS and misfire/engine replacement if you use the search. Its been a problem for some onwers.

Stand corrected, just remembered the wife test drove a manual one :-)
