* Sebastian Vettel can win his 5th race in a row. No-one has done that since Schumacher won 7 on the trot in 2004
* But no driver has ever won the Chinese Grand Prix twice: Barrichello in 2004, Alonso in 2005, Schumacher in 2006, Raikkonen in 2007, Hamilton in 2008, Vettel in 2009 and Button in 2010.

Red Bull are unlikely to be using their Kers power boost system in Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix, where the circuit has the longest straight on the Formula 1 calendar. Technical chief Adrian Newey admits the Milton Keynes-based team is finding it hard to come to grips with the device.

-------------

Nick Heidfeld's third-place finish in Malaysia means the German driver now holds the record for the most podium finishes without a win. Heidfeld has finished second or third 13 times, one more than previous record-holder Stefan Johansson

Formula 1's ruling body, the FIA, has confirmed the area in which drivers will be able to use their moveable rear wings during the Chinese Grand Prix.

The DRS (Drag Reduction System) will be allowed on the back straight of the Shanghai circuit, with the activation zone located before the halfway point of the straight, after Turn 13.

The zone is the only place on the track where drivers will be able to use their moveable wing during the race.

Yes very entertaining race. However if and when the teams get the strategy correct, which they`ll do, it`ll become very boring I believe. If Red bull did 3 stops like everyone should`ve done they would`ve been light years ahead. (this is Vettel since Webber was 18th and did 3 pitstops)
I think rain will is the only factor to mix up the racing. Bring on Bernie`s sprinklers :D

Great race. I watched the highlights again last night. Not many times that I've seen someone get on the podium from 6th with only 5 laps to go.

Couple of odd stats from the weekend
Felipe Massa - Shanghai - FP1: 6th. FP2: 6th. FP3: 6th. Qualifying: 6th. Race: 6th Position in driver's standings: 6th. Car number: 6
First time Car #3 has won a race since Brazil 2004!
Alonso's fastest lap was slower than Jarno Trulli's.

Wow! :eyepop: Amazing stat! :eyepop:

That would put Filipe "Damien" Massa 6th 6 times?

2011 is his 6th season with Ferrari.
And he also finished 6th overall in the 2010 Drivers’ Championship.
