hi folks just being curious here does anyone know if theres a big difference between these two i know the cupra has more bhp but on paper the 0-60 is only a second of difference just wondering if theres a major difference in performance and handling as there both got the same engine cheers .

Cupra is lighter which makes a difference. Roc has more sophisticated rear suspension, wider track and tyres etc so would imagine roc handles better but i haven't driven a cupra so just assumptions

Roc is Golf based platform....Ibiza is a Polo based platform..
That should give u a hint to the handling differences.
Straight line yes the Cupra will be faster but throw in a few corners the Roc would be all over it while the Seat attempts to stay out of the nearest ditch

All is well summed up above... i considered a Polo GTI and an Ibiza Bocanegra but after driving them both dismissed them... they're quicker in a straight line for sure, but they're cheaper, smaller cars and feel it... the Scirocco is a much more sure footed car, much wider track etc.
I ordered the Scirocco, despite knowing the other 2 were cheaper options....
