What does the winter tyres setting on the multi function display do where u can active/deactivate or increase and decrease by plus or minus 5mph?

as I understand it winter tyres sometimes have speed advisories so you set that speed in the winter tyres function & it tells you when you go over it (note: it doesn't stop you going over it). if you don't have winter tyres with a speed restriction don't mess with it as its not easy to turn off again (speaking from experience lol)

haha sounds interesting thanks trix! While im here i noticed another couple of setting which are to do with the windows and doors and u can either choose manual or automatic (from memory without going out to car again) any ideas what these ones do?

suggested night time reading: the manual.

i don't think its necesary in the UK context. Maybe its more relavant in countries where the snow is deeper and more regular, thus you would have a different speed limit because of the tyres/ conditions.

i have winter tyres on now, and i think its fine if you done go onto something like 120mph. Every day usage seems ok so far for me.
