Not sure if that was aimed at me? No quote, and i had confessed to not having knowledge in the post above, anyhow I was referring to the RNS.

BTT

I have chatted to a couple of mates. who are VW elect guru's, and we seem to think the only way of resetting an RCD is to remove the respective fuse from the box.

Why have a forum then ?, no wonder the place is quite if you cant even ask a question, anyway where in the manual does it show you how to reboot the system ?, i.e not just reset to factory settings ?

Must say I agree with Blue, the answer to a lot of tech queries in this sect would be 'read the manual'.

That regime does not help in the future, with searches etc. IMO.

Thanks trix, normally it's try the search which I did and there was nothing on this topic.

Anyway, it seemed to sort itself out. Simply started the car to go home after work and it started playing my music from the iPod and the sensor display was back, how odd.

Lol, I'll read the manual next time before making a post.

Hmm, wonder what wheels the manual will tell me to get :)
