The new Lotuses are tasty, specially the Elan. Just a pity it's priced at 911 levels!

The 1 series M car sounds better I think. 5 doors and only S tronic limits things a bit. Plus the BMW will have 3.0 twin turbo V6.

it would have to be grey for me to pull off the chrome highlights (not a fan of ibis on sb version)
whilst tempting as DAR said elsewhere i think if they had done a 3 door manual for £37.5K for a lot of people it would have been an easier decision, the base spec is pretty good but buckets are optional, no doubt that car would tread on the toes of the TT-S and Golf R (all be it some cracking deals around on demos)
with Revo Stage 1 these are pumping out 410bhp so would be a cracking point to point car

Not sure if we will see a 3 door, as said it steps on the toes of the TTRS then... also think this is a swansong for the A3 as we know it. I am pretty sure we will see something new for late 2011 or early 2012. I believe the new one will be built on the new multi-platform which the Golf MK7 is going to be based on, and that they are thinking of at least 4/5 variants ( low slung coupe, 3 door, 5 door, cabrio etc)
