Any decent driving roads around NW London?

Getting very frustrated and very envy of those of you here that leave somewhere out in the country where you can actually get to properly enjoy your Rocco’s every day!
Try and get out of the office (Edgware) sometimes during the day to take her for a spin, but haven’t found any really decent roads around here, so anyone got any suggestions?
Something not too far awat from NW4/HA8 area, with some nice twisty roads, and very little traffic? or am I asking for the impossible...?

I appreciate your frustration although I had a bit of solace over the festive break getting back up to Scotland. TV advert type of roads in the mountains with no cars or "safety" cameras to be bothered with!!
There are a few decent country lanes and back roads if you head over to Bucks. Aylesbury to Buckingham via Twyord although be careful of the Sunday pony trecking brigade.
Alternatively the other side of London you can head into the Essex wilds - head for the bikers cafe in Burnham on Crouch - can't miss it on a Sunday as there are dozens of bikes there and on the way there all the hazardous corners have tyre walls - yes I said tyre walls!! Over the years there have been so many bikers pulled out of hedge rows and farm cottages that the local plod have had the farmers put tyre walls up to save money at the local A&E. I was over there mid December and the leather clad scooter boys were very appreciative of the Roc.
Happy hunting
Roc On!!

Head out towards Ongar in Essex again very popular with Bikers, they seem to meet at High Beech in Epping Forest then go for a tear up! Havent taken the roc out there yet as the weather has been a bit iffy, but had lots of fun with the S2000 down there looking forward to summer!!
Maybe we should arrange a Nurburgring trip for the track day warriors amongst us

Cheers guys!
LCM, now I am jealous!
Heading up to the Lakes in a few weeks and dying to take the roc up there, but it simply ain’t going to happen…
With a 5 month’s old little one, I know realistically we are going to have to take the wife's CRV (although I have to say, it could do with a good run in as well...)
