hi folks just new on the forum im looking at getting a scirocco im wanting to compare the size of the seats to my car i have the now if anyones got the seat sizes handy looking for the size for the bottom part bit you sit on between the bolsters cheers .

Surely best way is to just get yourself down to local dealer and sit in one???

right i've been out with my tape measure...

width at rear (curves round behind this point imo) - flat seat face (at base of bolster/bucket side) - 28cm
width at rear - at top of bolster/bucket side - 35cm

width at front - flat seat face - 35cm
width at front - at top of bolster/ bucket side - 42cm

depth of seat - flat seat face to front seat edge - 44cm
depth of seat - top of bolster/bucket side to front seat edge - 50cm

hope those help but the best way to compare really will be to go & sit in one and see how it feels to you

I realise sometimes it isn't the easiest to get down to the dealers & sit in one so hey what can I say I go the extra mile to assist when I can & swgreen asked so nicely

thanks trix much appreciated is the second sizes the base part you sit on sorry to be a pain an i just didnt fancy going down the dealers with a measuring tape

Ive done a quick drawing of it with the measurements. Hope it helps you picture the seat with measurements better.

This gives u an idea of what the actual seat looks like.

the widths at the rear are taken where the seat starts to curve round just infront of the seam on chungster's pic (bottom & top of bolster/angled part which shows nicely on the R seat as its the grey alcantara)

the widths at the front are taken at the fron of the bolster & the depths are taken from the front seat edge (so where your knee creast would sit) along the centre to the flat part (flat seat face) & to the top of the bolster part
