attached link is to vote for best hot hatch of all time, cannot believe they did not include the mk2 gti amonst the vws and some great cars on the the list though from the last 30 years

They must have heard you, coz it's there now. Owned 2 mark 2 gti's. Have to admit, they might have even been more fun than my Scirocco. Oh, and I remember when all of that was fields and we used jumpers for goal posts. Sigh.
